New for January 2008......the Travel Plan Network will be offering its members the opportunity to take part in some quick, fun and easy promotional campaigns.
The aim of the campaigns is to encourage employees to take a 'greener way to work', by trying out walking, cycling, car sharing, or taking the bus or train. We'll also be promoting 'smarter working' which reduces the need to travel through video-conferencing, tele-conferencing and working from home.
Every 3 months, we'll be launching a brand new campaign to give employees an opportunity to try out a different mode of sustainable travel.
In February, we'll be encouraging employees to have a go at sharing their car journeys to work. Staff sharing their journeys during the month, will be given a car share goody bag and be entered into a free prize draw to win £500 or £200 to share with their passengers. For every campaign, we'll provide everything your business needs to take part, including incentives for your employees to join-in, posters and promotional materials to promote the campaign to staff, and at the end of each campaign we'll tell you how much CO2 your business have saved by taking part.
