The Travel Plan Network Partnership is pleased to be able to offer its members a number of discounts and offers:
15% discount on Company MetroCard
Membership of the Network entitles employers to apply for a 15% “travel plan discount” through the Company MetroCard scheme, a version of the annual MetroCard. The MetroCard is a pre-paid travelcard giving virtually unlimited travel on buses or trains & buses in West Yorkshire (different options available).
Corporate participation in the scheme could save an employee up to £150 per year on their travel costs (or up to £340 per year if the benefits of an annual MetroCard are taken into account).
Benefits include:
- Valid on the services of nearly all operators
- Time-saving, just board the bus and show
- Highly cost-effective
- Valid at peak times as well as all others
Employers are required to promote the scheme widely to their staff, to coordinate applications and provide an advance of salary or interest-free loan and payroll deductions.

50% discount on mapping services
Members of the Network receive a 50% discount on the cost of production of bus accessibility and postcode maps which are specific to your site(s) and employees.
Private group on one of our district car share web sites
Anyone may register their journey free of charge on one of the district web sites but only Travel Plan employers have the opportunity of a subscription to a private group, which enables their employees to look for car sharers within their own company or organisation (as well as expanding the search beyond). A private group can offer a considerable financial saving over the cost of setting up an in-house system.
