Under-inflated tyres create more resistance when your car is moving so your engine has to work harder and more fuel is used, resulting in increased carbon emissions. Check your tyre pressures reguarly and refer to your car's manual for the correct tyre pressure.

Staying at or within the speed limit increases driver safety and has the added benefit of saving you money on fuel costs and reducing your emissions. For instance, at 50mph you could typically use up to 15% less fuel than at 70mph.
